A Gift for you

gift

I am leaving you with a gift – peace of mind and heart! And the peace I give isn’t fragile like the peace the world gives. So don’t be troubled or afraid. John 14:27

God’s peace is a gift! Have you ever thought of it like that? I love that God’s word continues to comfort His people. He never fails! Whenever you feel alone and/or afraid remember that God already has a plan of escape from your storm. The world is fickle and that’s what John is telling us here. We’re all searching for something, but just know that whatever you need you can find in God. If you’re looking for peace turn away from the world and tune into God. Peace doesn’t mean without problems, but it does mean assurance that it will work out for your good. When has God ever been wrong? Don’t worry, we’ll wait.

Message From The Text

Founder's Message

OK class, it’s time to put our faces in The Book. Hebrews 10: 22-24 offers great encouragement and sound advice for those who desire a relationship with Jesus. There is a great hymn that states, “I need the prayers of those I love,” and this text from Hebrews speaks to that hymn. Let’s challenge ourselves to uplift our neighbors and never lose hope.

22 let us draw near to God with a sincere heart and with the full assurance that faith brings, having our hearts sprinkled to cleanse us from a guilty conscience and having our bodies washed with pure water. 23 Let us hold unswervingly to the hope we profess, for he who promised is faithful. 24 And let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds, 25 not giving up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but encouraging one another—and all the more as you see the Day approaching.
